A Senior Environmental Scientist, Rebekka has almost 25 years of experience as an environmental professional across BC, Northern Canada, and Washington State. She leads the delivery of customized software and GIS solutions for managing and reporting environmental information. Rebekka also leads the Environmental Management Group, which provides contaminated sites and sediment and erosion control services.<\/p>\n

Rebekka\u2019s broad experience with collection and analysis of data, development of field protocols, assessment of environmental impacts, investigations of contaminated sites, and reporting lends to seamless and effective management of these multi-disciplinary groups. She has managed several large-scale, multi-year projects, and coordinated multi-disciplinary project teams. ON TEAMWORK<\/p> \r\n \r\n

We work with engineers a lot on highways, bridges, airports, and infrastructure. Many of our projects have environmental considerations and the regulatory environment requires studies and consultation. Our culture fosters teamwork and supports all team members. In the North, we have small local teams, but we can do larger projects because we have all the technical specialists in-house. Everyone is always keen to get involved and support projects that we do.<\/p>\r\n \r\n \r\n <\/div> \r\n

Associated treats staff like family. My hometown is Vernon and I\u2019ve raised my family here. But I have a real pull for the North. The projects are fascinating. The logistics are challenging and takes unique skill sets to get our work done. The people and the environment is what inspires me to work there. I have local teams and travel often, which provides a great balance. <\/p>\r\n \r\n \r\n <\/div> \r\n
